2024 Tasting Stations

Cuisine for a Cause features food tasting stations from local restaurants which will create a dish, drink or dessert around the idea of comfort –elevating it into something beautiful, creative and delicious! The idea of comfort food connects directly to the mission of Fox Valley Hands of Hope - we provide comfort and care.

    Chef Rich Mancini has a big passion for food, cooking and giving back. He’s a nationally renowned chef with appearances on Hell’s Kitchen & Chef Wanted.

  • Kathy Hunt (Kitchen Kat)

    Kathy Hunt is a syndicated food writer, appearing in the Chicago Sun-Times, Los Angeles Times, and more. Kathy is also a cookbook author, recipe taster, teacher, lecturer, and a fascinating culinary storyteller.

  • New Vintage Strings

    New Vintage Strings is a contemporary string ensemble known for its distinctive blend of jazz, classic rock, pop & alternative instrumental covers with a classical touch.

  • Fretless Music

    Fretless Music makes their music vital and exciting by performing current pop, rock, and jazz music while continuing to play timeless classical music.

The Mission of Fox Valley Hands of Hope is to provide compassionate guidance and support for the grieving, at no cost.

Fox Valley Hands of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing expert support for children, families, and adults who are experiencing a loss due to death of a loved one. Serving the Fox Valley for over 40 years, our expanding reach serves Kane County and parts of all six adjacent counties.
